  23.    A monthly international electronic magazine dedicated to the                
  24. publicity of the independent computer networks.  Credit is given               
  25. to authors.  We publish within 60 days of electronic submission.               
  26. (see schedule).  Reports to queries via Net Mail and/or internet               
  27. given within 24 hours of receipt.  We do take the first North                  
  28. American Serial Rights.                                                        
  29.                                                                                
  30.    Each monthly publication will carry, with the permission of                 
  31. Adam Michlin, the most current version of NETSALL.ART available                
  32. to us.                                                                         
  33.                                                                                
  34.    Announcements and articles are NOT advertisements for your                  
  35. BBS, Business or other commercial activity.  Future editions of                
  36. NETLAND may have sections for advertisements...but at this time                
  37. they are neither welcome, nor accepted.                                        
  38.                                                                                
  39. PAYMENT: $0.00 per article. (You are promoting YOUR net, right?)               
  40.                                                                                
  41. LENGTH:                                                                        
  42.    The announcement of a net should ideally be such that it takes              
  43. no more than 23 lines.  An announcement longer than this would                 
  44. cause the reader to have to read a second page in the READROOM                 
  45. format.                                                                        
  46.                                                                                
  47.   We can publish articles up to 30,000 words in length if that is              
  48. your desire.  Our hope is that the articles, contrasted to the                 
  49. announcements, will cover subjects of interest to those readers                
  50. that want to explore the world of independent networks.                        
  51.                                                                                
  52. TIPS:                                                                          
  53.    For the quickest inclusion in NETLAND you may netmail us at                 
  54. The Barter Board, FIDO 1:261/1352 with your net announcement                   
  55. OR simply netmail a message to us that we have your permission to              
  56. include the announcement you posted in the FIDO OTHERNETS echo.                
  57.                                                                                
  58.    Articles can be transmitted to either our FIDO address, or                  
  59. uploaded directly to The Barter Board BBS at (410) 837-1420.                   
  60.                                                                                
  61.    You may also submit your announcements and/or articles via                  
  62. diskette snail mail to the address listed above.                               
  63.                                                                                
  64.    Disk media: DOS 360, 720, 1.2m, 1.4m. in unarced/uncompressed               
  65. format, *PURE ASCII* text format on disk media. Place a minimum                
  66. of two copies of the work on disk.  Please limit your file name                
  67. to a maximum of seven characters (READROOM REQUIREMENT).                       
  68.                                                                                
  69.    Although we do NOT guarantee publication of ANSI announcements              
  70. and or articles, you may submit them.  If space allows, and these              
  71. items are in a format readable by READROOM, we will include the                
  72. ANSII version of your submission.                                              
  73.                                                                                
  74.    We are not in the position to do data entry of your items                   
  75. submitted via snail-mail or FAX.

  79. Please provide with your submission, a contact BBS with a FIDO                 
  80. Node number for NetMail.  We can not at this time respond to                   
  81. queries other than FIDO Node Numbers...OR an internet address. If              
  82. you make your submission by snail mail and you want your dis-                  
  83. kettes returned, please include a postage paid return mailer or                
  84. envelope.  Snail Mail submissions without return postage will be               
  85. considered expendable (I have to get scratch diskettes someway!).

  89.    Standard submission format: FLUSH LEFT margin, Ragged Right,                
  90. with 65 column Right Margin, blank line between paragraphs, spell              
  91. checked, EDITED, and *PROOF READ* by YOU! Pure ASCII only,                     
  92. please. We do virtually no editing to your ms, except for layout               
  93. into the e-mag to fit format needs. PURE ASCII text format,                    
  94. please.  We reserve the right to reject submissions that do not                
  95. adhere to this layout format.

  97. RIGHTS:                                                                        
  98.    The Authors retain copyright to their work! And have only                   
  99. released (One Time Rights) First North American Serial rights for              
  100. publication purposes.
